Now that we are back to work, we wanted to reassure you of the steps we are taking to ensure your safety whilst doing any work inside your home, and what you can do to help keep our fitters safe.

Our main priority is keeping both our staff and customers safe and our objective is to make sure people understand what they need to do to maintain safety.

No work will be carried out in a household which is isolating because one or more family members has symptoms or where an individual has been advised to shield - unless it is to remedy a direct risk to the safety of the household.

The steps laid out below are what you can expect from us and what we will require from you:

We will be communicating with households prior to arrival, and on arrival, to ensure the household understands the social distancing and hygiene measures that should be followed once work has commenced.

• Cleaning the work area - To keep the work areas in your home clean and prevent transmission by touching contaminated surfaces.
  - Prior to our arrival, we would request that door handles etc are cleaned, using your usual cleaning products.
  - Whilst working in your home we will continue to adhere to a strict cleaning regime.
  - Frequent cleaning of objects and surfaces that are touched regularly.
  - Removing all waste and belongings from the work area at the end of a shift and at the end of a job.
• Hygiene objective - If handwashing facilities are not accessible, our fitters will carry hand sanitiser.
